Pictures. *whew*
I think I overdid it. I'm going to go rock climb now, before I get stuck to this chair and the keyboard...

Mmmm, Depeche Mode...
Depeche Mode is sorely lacking in pictures. We had excellent seats at Staples night 1, but unless you're on the floor or on one of the side view seats near the stage, getting decent pictures sucks. So we didn't try. :-/
The set looked like the bridge of an alien spaceship. A large silver ball with scrolling displays for words, "pain", "anger", "love" and other words in LEDs on it, multiple projectors for the background video at crazy angles, and a very short little catwalk into the floor. The video projector arrangement looked like a broken cross to Thomas' eyes, or maybe something else.

Too much turkey for Thanksgiving?
Good times... many good times... and encounters with too much turkey this weekend. 18lb and 21lb birds, respectively. The latter, stuffed with a ridiculous amount of super tasty stuffing...
I'm looking at all of the pictures sitting on my harddisk-- and I think I just need to spend a few days at home relaxing and working on editing galleries instead of going out!

Vertigo comes to an end
At least for my fellow crazies and myself.
Pictures for the last two shows are still being uploaded. Having spent my first two shows of the tour largely behind the camera lens, I opted to let my friends shoot the pictures. Pearl should have some amazing ones coming up from Oakland 2... as soon as we recover from two U2 concerts in four days.
My local contingent of crazies woke up at 5am this morning for our return flight so we could go to work, and it's past 11pm now. I think we've subsisted for the last four days on endorphins and the sounds of City of Blinding Lights and Sunday Bloody Sunday in our heads.
