Singapore and Hong Kong
Thanks to the beauty of time zones and the international date line, a late morning departure turns into an early afternoon arrival in Tokyo. That means... a late lunch/early dinner of some real food-- bluefin tuna sushi! Nom nom nom. Only in Japan would airport sushi actually be good!
Then some much worse sushi inside the United lounge, better than typical United food, but still decidedly so-so-- to absolutely no one's surprise.
A much less new 777-200ER for the Narita to Changi flight (NRT-SIN), although as a tag flight, lots of middle seats were empty, which definitely helps. Most of United's 777, including this one, have in-seat screens and power, so it was a decent enough flight.
