Shin Sen Gumi
Berkshire pork steaming pot for lunch at Shin Sen Gumi Horumon in Gardena... not sure it's my favorite meal, but it was quite good. Thin sliced pork atop a bed of veggies plus a bowl of rice and some ponzu sauce is a nice change from the (limited times only) AYCE shabu shabu we normally get here, or the angus beef sizzling plate that Pearl got.
Chris indulged on the camouflage ice cream at Baskin Robbins afterwards. It was surprisingly good, a nice contrast of sweet and salty flavors.
Finally, we went to 85C Bakery down the street. Taro bread was fresh from the oven, aka the very best time to enjoy it! A few other things were also super fresh from the oven, add in the usual drinks, and it was a very tasty afternoon!
