Pok Pok LA
Last day of Pok Pok LA-- Chris was smart enough to arrive early and snag us the last seat on the patio.
Food was everything it was billed up to, although in a crowded market in Los Angeles, I can see why Pok Pok LA failed to stand out. Papaya pok pok was solid, and the Kai Yaang was equally tasty. Muu Paa Kham Waan was delicious but we weren't quite sure how to eat it at first; you do the ice and mint separately?
Kaebg Hang Leh is pretty delicious when hot, and kinda gross when cold, while the Cha Cha La Vong (fried catfish) was awesome. Capped things off with the Ike's Vietnamese Fish Sauce Wings, which were definitely the highlight of the night. Might have to visit Pok Pok in Portland for 'em...
