Hiking and fooding
Geography dorks planned hiking... turns out it was at Ernest Debs park, near Mr. Holmes Bakehouse. So when they ran late... it was cruffin time while I waited!
The "hike" itself was a pretty casual walk, although the hills are a decent up and down, just very short. And they wanted to get a late dim sum after... late enough I was concerned. Surprisingly tho, Longo Seafood still did a nice job, even so late, and the ong choy was almost as good as the first time.
Board games and cruffins later in the afternoon. Chocolate caramel was very good, but not as exotic as some other flavors they've done. After board games, the new Tasty Noodle House on Sawtelle provided an underwhelming dinner-- not nearly as good as the OG locations in 626, but an acceptable change from all of the majority-Japanese restaurants in the area.
