Faroe Islands
Sundays mornings are a bit difficult for tourists, lots of restaurants are closed, at least in the morning. Grocery stores (at least Bonus) are closed the whole day. Ended up back at Amarant Bakery in Klaksvik as one of the few places that was open for a late breakast/early lunch.
Ticked off two more islands within the Faroes I had yet to see, Vidoy and Kunoy. One-way tunnels indicate how small the population is on both islands, and while I wished I could have seen more (such as the southern island of Sandoy), I have no complaints given this was a working-remotely-trip and not an actual vacation. Vidoy in particular looks like it might have had some decent hiking a bit further north than I was able to go; perhaps next time??
Despite low clouds rolling in in the evening, Vagar Airport is clearly used to such operations, and the return flight to Copenhagen was right on time. The snack box of cold roast beef wasn't exactly filling, but it was better than some of the flavorless crap that US domestic carriers would try to pass off on such a short domestic flight.
One last night at the AC Hotel by Marriott Bella Sky on the trip. Got upgraded to a corner room that probably had a nice view had I daylight to appreciate it; again, perhaps next time?
