Seaweed salad was a bit too sweet, but a generous portion.

Pork gyoza were entirely forgettable.

Pork katsu curry.

Just a tad overly fried.

The original Northern Cafe in Westwood is now a Japanese curry place. Layout inside is about the same, decor is actually fairly neon'ed up, food is okay. Seaweed salad a tad too sweet, and the pork katsu was fried a tad too long. Might be worth a return off that alone, but the gyoza were also similarly unimpressive, so to that end, I am thinking this place is skippable.
