United Polaris Lounge LAX moved the tea table to fit in 3 more seats.

They also removed the unused customer service desk to fit more seats. Looks like they net gained about 8 seats, but they're much better seats for customers.

Shrimp fried rice, not bad.

Domestic first class onboard an international configured 787-9.

Not great, but a nice change.

Positioning for tomorrow's inaugural flight on United Airlines from Newark, NJ to Split, Croatia. Noticed some changes at the Polaris Lounge LAX for more seating (not that many more net seats, but the quality of the seating improved significantly), a rather indifferent Asian vegetarian only meal (AOML) on LAX-EWR, and the usual overnight stay at one of the Newark Airport hotels.
