Mammoth: Presidents' Day 2011: Day 3
Didn't snow the night before, or else technically it would've been a bluebird day...
Undid my handiwork-- two snowboards and two pairs of skis into a single locker (personal record!), then we aimed for Cornice... but got sidetracks by the fact that the backside was finally open. Ended up eating lunch over there while bombing down the acres and acres of fresh powder repeatedly. Pretty sweet. We were not crazy enough to do Hemlock Ridge, though.
Up and down chair 14, the trees covered in freshly fallen snow, tons of pow-pow on the ground, what more could you ask for?
Wrapped up the day with Dan's pasta for dinner plus leftovers from the night before, then a nice game of Agricola for about half the group. The rest watched (yet another) Arnold Schwarzenegger marathon on TV.
